Live Oak CCS Hub Presents at the LSU CO2 Technology Symposium

The Live Oak CCS team was proud to participate in the Louisiana State University (LSU) CO2 Technology Symposium on September 3, joining a distinguished group of leaders and innovators shaping the future of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) in Louisiana.

The symposium brought together a majority of the state’s active Class VI well applicants and key stakeholders from across the region. It served as a valuable forum for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and advancing shared goals in the CCUS space.

Our Director of Engineering, Ryan Choquette, delivered a presentation titled “Overcoming Design Issues for Class VI Injection Wells in Louisiana.” Events like this serve as a powerful platform for knowledge exchange, partnership building, strategic planning and reinforcing our commitment to advancing CCS solutions across the Gulf Coast.
